Marshall University School of Pharmacy
A one-day program, consisting of both knowledge and application-based sessions, designed for inpatient pharmacy managers and directors.
Registration includes up to 7 hours of CPE for pharmacists, participant handouts (posted online), breakfast, lunch and breaks.

9:00am-10:00am: Overview of the status of technicians in the state
10:00-1030: Morning break
10am-12:00pm: Technician best practices and idea sharing
1:00pm-2:00pm: Generational differences in pharmacy
2:00pm-3:00 pm: Using students and residents to improve HCAPHS scores
3:00pm-3:30pm: Afternoon break
3:30pm-5:00pm: Using learners to improve your practice idea sharing
The Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GSHP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE). This program is approved for up to 17 hours (1.7 ceu’s) of CPE credit for pharmacists. GSHP will report your participation in the program to NABP CPE Monitor within 4-6 weeks of the meeting’s completion for all participants who successfully complete each session. Successful completion includes attending the entire session, signing the attendance sheet and completing an online evaluation form for each session attended.
